1.       Board Particle

Board particle or known as chipboard is a wooden product made by wood crumbs, synthetic resin, and other special gluten extracted. Board particle is a raw material which is susceptible with water. Thanks to the wood crumbs material which has big pores so it is easy to absorb water. This board particle Is not strong enough to hold heavy things.

2.       Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF)

Medium density fiberboard is a wooden product made by soft wood residue or wood dregs which become wood fiber and united by resin gluten and wax to be stated as a panel by high temperature process. In addition to become furniture raw material, MDF can be used as plywood.

3.       Blockboard

One of the product results in Plywood Industries. It has three layers which are 0.5-2 mm thick front layer of plywood, 10-14 mm thick core layer of forest wood (Meranti Wood and Albasia Wood), and 0.5-2 mm back layer of plywood.

4.       Teakblock

Basically, this kind of wood has same characteristic with blockboard wood. The difference is in the upfront layer. Teakblock has one more layer which is formed by teak vinyl.

5.       Multiplex/Plywood

Multiplex or plywood also called as triplex. This furniture raw material consists of several wooden layers united as one. This material is commonly used in furniture. This material is flexible, can be recycled, cheap, and easy to make. The multiplex layer is glued with aligned veins angle to produce strong product. To preventing multiplex layer warping, normally, layers are compiled in odd number. Compiled layers in even numbers will create a board which is easy to distort so it will be unstable. Multiplex has various thickness from 0.8 mm to 25 mm and various quality.
