Lunarfurniture.com – In the earlier articles, we already discussed about the many things we can consider if we want to build our own kitchen set. Making our own kitchen set means we can do many things we want to determine the shape and appearance of the kitchen set we want, some people even say that if we are clever enough to find the right references and information, our kitchen set might resulting better than the kitchen set we found in the furniture shop, but still in the low production cost. We are pretty lucky to live in this age where many references and information are easy to be gained from books, electronic media, or even internet where both things are easy to be found quickly.

From several references we found in media, we can’t leave a fact that the all furniture need interesting appearance and this can be gained if we give the kitchen set the good and qualified finishing material. We already discussed about two finishing material for the kitchen; the deco sheet and also the HPL, high pressure laminate. There are other kinds of finishing material which we will discuss now; the melamic and duco paint.

The melamic type is quite different from the two earlier finishing materials discussed which are attached to the kitchen set’s surface. Melamic is in liquid form not thin layer, and we must spray it to the outer part of the kitchen set. The melamic finishing material needs to be maintained in special way, it must be away from wet condition which can cause any fungus. The other finishing material, duco paint, can be selected in two kinds; the glossy or doff. It  is quite expensive, but it gives elegant effect and durability to the kitchen set.
